How You Can Benefit From Taking Care Of Your Restaurant Furniture

“In businesses, expenses that are spent because of negligence are counted against the profits you earned. Every equipment, tool, unit, or furniture you are using in your business should not be there as a losing asset. Rather, it should be there as an inspiring item. Despite being used through the years of operation, its aging should give us the endeavor needed to give more time to it as if everything else in your business depends on it always.

For instance, if you are a restaurant owner, the things that your customers use are the chairs and tables of your restaurant. Therefore, you should have means of sustaining its quality and durability. As a businessman, you should give importance to the elements of your business. Here are tips in taking care of your restaurant furniture:

1. If you are using wooden furniture, avoid using wet cloth to clean it. If needed use a damp, soft cloth to clean it up. Do not use rough materials to clean your restaurant furniture.

2. Use a damp cloth with liquid cleaner or detergent to clean your plastic furniture and other non-wooden furniture. Cleaning it need not be expensive.

3. Don’t drag chairs or tables. Lift them slightly off the floor. This way you are extending the life-span of your restaurant furniture and floor. This will save you a penny or two in repairs.

4. You can use table cloths to cover the table surfaces. This adds aesthetics to the restaurant and protects the table at the same time.

5. Use a plastic liner under the table cloth so that there is no water that seeps through the table cloth and unto the table. This applies to all types of table – wooden, plastic or glass.

6. Don’t stack them, if possible, when cleaning the restaurant area. Rather, move them in an area where they cannot be in your way and without necessarily stacking them.

7. Always check for scratches and retouch its polish. This way, you are building your restaurant’s image with its always fresh look. On non-costumer days, don’t use the furniture for doing activities which would destruct your kitchen furniture.

The things mentioned above are just simple means to lengthen the life of your restaurant furniture. Though they may be trivial, but these are very effective tips that can help your business.”

Finding the right outdoor restaurant chairs and restaurant table tops is never easy. But you will find what you need with the right supplier online.

Is Your Kitchen Too Small?

When you cook for a lot of people, having more space in your kitchen seems like an impossible dream. It allows you more room to prepare your dishes. With more space, it is less likely you are going to knock something over when you move around. However, when you design your kitchen right you can create more space without expanding your floor area.

Installing kitchen pantry cabinets are one of the simplest ways to do this. Until you need your dried foods, you can store them in these pantry cabinets. You can store your food processing machines with your dried or canned foods just by arranging the shelves properly. You can even attach a door rack to your pantry door for more space.

Another way of creating space is through the use of kitchen islands and carts. You can install sinks, stoves or ovens with permanent kitchen islands. Sometimes, all you need to do is turn around to get from the cooking stove to the sink. You can even set up a breakfast bar or small eating counter on your kitchen island. You may not even need to modify your kitchen island and get to use it straight out of the box. And with kitchen islands, you can have extra storage space too.

Instead of a permanent island, you can use a portable kitchen island if your kitchen is small. The difference is you get the same benefits except on wheels. When you don’t have to use your portable kitchen island, you can simply push it up against a wall for storage. With portable kitchen islands, you get to use it in your living or dining room!

By covering the top with a simple table cloth, you create a portable breakfast bar or buffet counter. You can place foods like appetizers, fruits or drinks on the top and wheel it out into your dining or living room. You can even store the extra supplies under the cloth in the shelves or cupboards below.

You have created more usable space in your kitchen with just a few simple ideas.
