People in India and Nepal use their unused furniture to burn in the festival called Shiva Ratri. The festival is celebrated for Lord Shiva. This is one of the biggest festival in Nepal. People collect unused woods and furniture. They then burn the furniture in their garden with their family and stay till the fire burns out. Some even put potatoes under the woods while its burning so that when the fire stops they can eat the potatoes. This festival is for holy and fun activities.

Many furniture handy men use these used restaurant furniture and club furniture to build something new and funky. There are lots of people who make money out of collecting old furniture and recreating new designed furniture from that old furniture. In my eyes that is something productive and talented thing to do. Many restaurants and clubs have unused and broke furniture which they would love to throw away, if you can use these furniture to create something new and make it usable then that is definitely a talented thing to do.

Not everyone can be that creative and talented and if you are not then you can just give your unused furniture to the charity. This can be a very useful donation to the charity. The furniture you donate will come in use of many students in Asian and Africa. If you have a big furniture to donate such as wardrobe or bed, then from this two they can built small chairs and tables for a school somewhere in Asia and Africa. By giving unused furniture away you will definitey be helping a lot of children’s studies.

Always think there is someone out there who can always use the items you are not using.

To be honest its not just the hospitality industry with contemporary furniture these days, many new built apartments have new modern furniture for their modern looking rooms/apartments.

I tend to visit bars, clubs and restaurants which has stunning interior with lovely decent crowd. There is no doubt that people tend to go to bars, clubs and restaurants which looks glamorous and attracts big crowd and because of this most of the hospitality industries have adapted to these new modern furniture to attract more customers, as competition is growing more and more around the capital city.

Its just not the hospitality industries which are adapting to these changes, general public are also looking glamorous furniture to give their home or office a unique and stunning look. I am sure most people go to their local furniture store to have a look on what’s new in the store to keep your rooms updated with new modern furniture at home. Especially for the ladies as they love to shop every now and then or should I say more often than necessary (I am just kidding).

I believe you should treat furniture like fashion, if it’s old it’s got to do and the new stuff needs to come in.
